ACOUSTICAL NOMS

So Kaki King officially started her tour off  yesterday evening in New York at MOMA’s Guitar Innovators Event to a great turnout. But before she rocked the socks off of MOMA guests, Kaki made a quick stop by WNYC (NPR Music for us westcoasters) for a nice acoustic show and interview that gives you insight to the tour, and what she has been up to lately. You can go ahead and CLICK HERE to download the Edmann-provided link. It’s the entire show tagged and listed correctly for your listening and organizing pleasure. And its pretty awesome.

Meanwhile, in nerdtastic stat-counting land, it came to my attention that Kaki has just passed the 5 Million Plays mark on last.fm. Pretty big deal, considering when I first got there, she had all of 25,000 plays. Its come a really long way.

Anyways, check the updated tour dates here, and have fun.

Awesome.

(Since were still archiving, which is killing my ability to upload photos at full size, heres the link for the Full Size Photo…)

Wallpaper Material.

(…and Full Size on this one too.)

Awesome graphics done by Arthur Shim of Root Down Media. He’s pretty awesome over there. Helps me out when Kaki’s website wants to implode on itself. While were talking about that, make sure you head over to Kaki’s website to check out any new tour dates I’m posting; they should be up by the end the day.
